This pigment pulls toward the magnet and changes color in different lighting, while the black base is a constant that holds together the spaces in between.

Dark Matter is a magnetic multichrome polish that shifts between shades of green, blue, and purple with scattered holographic glitter, and comes with a magnetic wand.

This shade is part of the Galaxy Trio.

Details

Step 1: Apply a generous coat of magnet-activated nail polish. Step 2: While nail polish is still wet, hover Magnetic Wand above nail for at least 10 seconds to create magnetic effect. Work one nail at a time. Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 until polish is opaque. Step 4: Let dry and seal manicure with Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat. Step 5: (Optional) While top coat is still wet, hover Magnetic Wand above the nail for another 10 seconds for stronger magnetic effect.

This nail polish dries smooth. We still recommend applying clear top coat over the nail polish for a longer lasting mani! Applying topcoat to your magnetic nail polish will not affect its magnetic properties.

Our photos are taken with daylight bulbs that replicate sunlight. Holographic nail polish looks best under sunlight and concentrated indoor lighting (e.g. halogen lights in the kitchen!).

Love it!

I’m slowly figuring out how to use the wand properly, but it can produce beautiful results! I think the only thing that gets me is how easily it can chip even—this one is a bit of a toss up—and how fast it dries. I know it’s to hold it in place, but you need to move quick to get better results. I still love it, though!

Beautiful Dark Colors

I love this polish's color, even if you don't get the magnet right (it takes practice) the color itself is still beautiful. I love wearing dark blues, blacks, purples, and navys so I definitely bought this one.

Magical galaxy

I love this one, I did not know magnetic polishes exsist, I bought it because of the beautiful and special colors and it's gorgeous on its own though the magnetic effect makes it even more beautiful. It is easy to apply, dries quickly and lasts long on my natural nails, without top or base coat. On the photos is mostly looks green/black/little bit blue, but depending on the sort of light and its entrence angle, there is also a lot of purple/magenta in it, really pretty! And the little sparkles match perfect, not too much but exactly right, like stars in the galaxy. One coat already works fine, but I use a second for better magnetic effect. I also bought "Cosmic dust", gorgeous too, compared to it, "Dark matter" seems to be easier to remove and appears more ...dont know the right english word...smooth? once it's dry.
