Like the original title of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, this polish is not what it might first appear to be. Whether you're warm or cold to start, a change of temperature will surely invite a closer look.

  • Temperature-reactive
  • Transitions between cornflower blue (cold) and stone (warm)
  • Blue-to-purple shifting shimmer
  • Holographic micro flakes
  • Designed and made in the USA

Temperature reactive polish has a typical shelf life of 6 months - 1 year and may begin to lose their ability to change color after that. The polishes are not kept in temperature controlled containers during transit, and may require time to cool off/warm up upon arrival before color transitioning can be seen.

Details

Opaque in 2-3 coats.

This nail polish dries slightly textured. We recommend applying clear top coat over the nail polish for a smooth, longer lasting mani! Applying topcoat to your temperature reactive nail polish will not affect its ability to change color.

Our photos are taken with daylight bulbs that replicate sunlight. Holographic nail polish looks best under sunlight and concentrated indoor lighting (e.g. halogen lights in the kitchen!).

Beautiful color

I love this polish. It changes color easily and is so fun to wear. I especially love the ombré look I get with it.

First Impression - not so great

Color is great. However, after 24 hours the polish peeled off cleanly. Not chipped but actually peeled off. I first did not notice until I realized there was no polish on my index finger. I looked at the floor and there was the polish laying like a sheet of paper.

Nice but top coat ruined it

I did a test on one nail and it looked beautiful until I applied Opi top coat. Now, it's solid blue. LLP was out of stock of their top coat. The description says a top coat won't ruin the effect. I wish they would do the research and tell us which brands work with it. I'd buy theirs if I knew it would work and free shipping. I'll wait till my nails grow a bit longer and see how well it works then- but not wait too long bc I believe these have a shelf life. Will be nice for special occasions.

First Impression +

Really like this color! The noticeable difference from the light to darker blue gives a fun experience every time. I felt it to be a good subtle blue hue acceptable to wear I my corporate business environment. It also seemed to not be as “thick/textured” as some of the others which I preferred.
