LBD is a rich black creme polish.
Opaque in 1 coat.
This nail polish dries smooth. We still recommend applying clear top coat over the nail polish for a longer lasting mani!

- base coat
I've seen many reviews of this polish, and have had some in my polish collection for twoish years now. It is one of the best one-coater black polishes on the market - if you get used to working with it, as getting just the perfect layer can be tricky in the beginning. It's quite easy to get this polish to be streaky on you because it dries so quickly, especially if you spend too long fixing a layer. What I'd recommend for first timers, especially if you're not used to working with creme polishes that are quick drying, is doing one thin coat, no fixing any of it, just do a thin coat to cover your bases, so to speak. And then go over it with a second coat to make your nails nice, even and shiny. Creme polishes are the most unforgiving polishes out there, but this polish is great and most of all, a long-lasting base for your magnetics, glitters and special effect toppers. Though I do recommend sealing LBD in with a thin layer of your choice of top coat before some other polishes that you know have a tendency to mess with the polishes underneath. LBD does tend to transfer a bit with some polishes, but again, that's an easy fix with one thin coat of top coat between LBD and your desired topper.
This polish is really thick and hard to use. I found that that polish was hard to control when putting it on and it applied stringy if that makes sense. The color itself was pretty and could apply in one coat but I found that the formula was not good. This polish also would chip very quickly after one day of wear. I found that it did not bond to my nail or base coat and would come off in large chunks after only a day or two of wear time. I tried it a few times just to make sure I was applying it correctly I had the same problems every time. This is my first polish from LLP that I have not enjoyed.
Hi Nhaya! We're so sorry that you were not fully satisfied with LBD. Our Customer Experience Team will be reaching out to you via email.
I found this polish to go on smoothly and evenly as a base coat for my Calico magnetic polish but if I think if I wanted to wear it alone instead I could definitely get by easily with just 1 coat. Great quality, very impressed! Really makes the magnetic polish pop
I never revived the black polish but love some of the colors.
Goes on smooth and covers in one coat. Bought it as a base for another sparkly color and it looks fantastic! Dries fast too!
