Step 1: Apply a generous coat of magnet-activated nail polish.
Step 2: While nail polish is still wet, hover Magnetic Wand above nail for at least 10 seconds to create magnetic effect. Work one nail at a time.
Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 until polish is opaque.
Step 4: Let dry and seal manicure with Live Love Polish Quick Dry Top Coat.
Step 5: (Optional) While top coat is still wet, hover Magnetic Wand above the nail for another 10 seconds for stronger magnetic effect.
This nail polish dries slightly textured. We recommend applying clear top coat over the nail polish for a smooth finish and longer lasting mani! Applying topcoat to your magnetic nail polish will not affect its magnetic properties.
Our photos are taken with daylight bulbs that replicate sunlight. Holographic nail polish looks best under sunlight and concentrated indoor lighting (e.g. halogen lights in the kitchen!).

First thing I noticed when I received this polish is the instructions say to first use a black polish as a base coat, that would be nice to know BEFORE buying the product. I had a dark grey so I used that. Polish goes on nice but the magnet did nothing. Didnt change a thing. I tried holding it there longer, I tried more coats, I even checked to see if it was a real magnet(it was) so there was no magnetic effect. The color was still very pretty. Started to peel off and chip day 2!
I don't want to give this a low rating for something that was my fault but the only thing I'm pretty bummed about is I bought this and pursue me not at the same time and they are pretty identical (some slight differences). It's still a pretty color and I get a good magnetic reaction. I found the magnetic line didn't disperse as much if I didn't put the top coat on (I held the magnet over again after applying as well). I can't speak to the longevity of the Polish because I have hard gel on my nails and no nail polish has ever chipped off. While I do wish I had bought a different color this one is still nice
