Love In Idleness
Love In Idleness
With just a drop this violet shade is sure to captivate you at first sight. Pick this polish and watch it bloom in the sunlight.
Love In Idleness is a violet-to-dark periwinkle pastel magnetic polish with a white gold highlight and gold scattered holographic glitter.
This shade is part of the Midsummer Night’s Dream Collection.
1. Remove the natural oils on your nails with a cotton ball dipped in acetone or rubbing alcohol. Apply the protective base coat of your choice.
2. Working one nail at a time, apply a generous coat of magnetic nail polish and immediately hover Magnetic Wand over nail, as close as possible, for 10-15 seconds. For the strongest effect, hover wand until polish dries, about 45-60 seconds.
3. Repeat step 2 until polish is opaque.
4. Once dry, seal manicure with Quick Dry Top Coat. Hovering the magnetic wand over top coat while it’s still wet will increase the magnetic effect.
For Faster Application:
After step 1, apply a coat of creme polish. This creates an opaque foundation which means you’ll need fewer coats of magnetic polish. Depending on the shade, it may enhance or soften the appearance of the magnetic effect, so have fun and experiment!
Store your polish in a cool, dark place to keep it looking and applying its best! Polish exposed to too much heat or sunlight may change its color and/or consistency over time.
This nail polish dries slightly textured. We recommend applying clear top coat over the nail polish for a smooth finish and longer lasting mani! Applying topcoat to your magnetic nail polish will not affect its magnetic properties.
Our photos are taken with daylight bulbs that replicate sunlight. Holographic nail polish looks best under sunlight and concentrated indoor lighting (e.g. halogen lights in the kitchen!).

This polish surpassed expectations. I applied 2 layers over one coat of LBD and used the magnet on each layer and after applying the top coat - it came out beautifully. The magnetic pigment creates this gorgeous glow and the small holographic glitters were just the right touch.
I received a bottle from a friend and loved it. I purchased some more bottles and gave one of those away as a gift. I would like to order more as gifts for co-workers!
This polish alone is a beautiful iridescent color of purple and gold. However, the magnetic effect did not consistently work even after giving the bottle a good shake. I was looking forward to getting the results as pictured, but still overall a nice color as is.
I bought some of the magnetic polishes, and this was one of them. I bought them solely on the idea of having my nails have that effect of a cats eye marble. The effect does not last. I used a base coat, 1 black polish coat, 1 metallic polish coat, and top coat. I used the magnetic wand for 30-60 seconds after the magnetic polish, as well as after the top coat. You’ll see the fine line for a few seconds, but then it blurs out. While it looks beautiful, I don’t have that fine line/cats eye effect like in the pictures your see on the website that I wanted.
Beautiful color but very similar to Pursue Me Not...it works and It's gorgeous but I wouldn't have bought it if I knew how similar they were.
